An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, commercially focused Security Manager. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day operation of the Village Security team. This is a demanding and varied role so you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in a similar environment, ideally including responsibilities for security. Your excellent leadership qualities and drive will ensure that the Security team is developed, motivated and professional in carrying out its day to day activities in addition to thinking strategically when dealing with people management. Your professionalism and ability to influence will be first class as you will also deal with customer complaints, lead investigations and provide informative correspondence to customers and internal departments. Your attention to detail will ensure the team complies with company policies and standards of performance. You will have excellent analytical skills and decision making which enables you to optimise use of trends, intelligence and best practice. Your interpersonal skills will help you to maintain positive relations with the local police to ensure the pro-active management of security across the site. You will be innovative in your approach to delivering solutions to ensure the highest levels of security are balanced with our guest service experience. Hours of work are 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday, but will include occasional weekend and night work. PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY.
