Job Introduction:
Due to continued growth of the Selfridges contract, an exciting opportunity has arisen for aG4S Security Manager to join the Regional Security business.
Reporting to the City Operations Manager , the G4S Security Manager will assist with the day to day running of the security team within Selfridges, ensuring standards are met, to provide a cost effective and quality service.

Please note that this is a direct, operational role.
Role Responsibility:
  • Day to day responsibility for the operation
  • Contractual/Company Compliance
  • Regular liaison with the Client and Selfridges Management
  • Reconciliation of hours worked against hours invoiced
  • Control of extra cover duties allocation of staff
  • Compliance/updating of Assignment Instructions
  • SIA Standards Compliance
  • Health and Safety
  • Training matrix for all staff with further staff development
  • Advance rostering and planning with cross training of all positions
  • Absence Management
  • Investigations/discipline of staff as necessary
  • Care visits/OMS compliance for all staff
  • Standard of employees delivery/codes of conduct
  • Incident Investigations
  • Control of holidays/uniform/payroll reconciliation/payroll queries.
  • Ensuring full use of ESS
  • Succession planning
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Retail experience ideal but not essential

  • Communication skills
  • Customer Service
  • Forward planning and the ability to anticipate and resolve problems proactively
  • SIA Licensed prior to commencing work
  • Intermediate PC skills
  • Ability to mentor
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to priorities/delegate when appropriate
