Salary: USD $375 per day
Job Description
Minimal Risk have been tasked by a Private Security Company (PSC) client to recruit SIA Licensed Close Protection Operatives to deploy into Afghanistan as armed “Guardians” to protect civilian technicians installing vehicle communication fits at multiple locations. The contract is with the US Department of Defence (DOD) who
will provide full life support within established US bases. Deployments commence on the 1st April with another deployment by 1st May.
The process for selection is as follows:
• Apply online through this advert
• Await confirmation that you will be required for interview or stood down.
• Attend the briefing and interview day with the PSC client and Minimal Risk
• Await notification of acceptance of suitability and details for deployment
Successful applicants will be subject to a vetting check and CRB conducted by Minimal Risk.
Pay is $375 USD per day. Rotations are either 12/4 or 10/5 dependant on location.
Minimum Requirements:
Essential
SIA CP Licence
Operational experience with the Military
Weapons competency in AK47 and pistol
Excellent Communication Skills
Clear CRB check (Must be a United Kingdom Resident and citizen for this to be done)
FPOS (or FPOSI, MIRA, EMT)
Computer literare
Must have a proven ability to carry out risk assessments
Highly Desirable
Ideally some Commercial experience in conflict affected regions
Former SNCO from British Armed Forces
Copy of current UK or NATO Security Clearance
A 2nd passport
Medical Certificate showing physically fit with no known medical conditions to prevent work in Hostile Environments

Interviews to take place in Wokingham, 6/7 Mar 13.
If invited to Interview you will be required to bring two hard copies of your CV and four passport photos.
Those candidates successful at interview will be required to complete a pre-employment pack.
