Our client is a specialist provider of armed maritime security services. Operating in areas of the world at risk from piracy and maritime terrorism, they supply highly trained and dedicated assets to ensure the safe passage of vessels in transit. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has now arisen for an Armed Security
Training Co-ordinator to join their team.

As an Armed Security Training Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for joining a small team tasked with the development and delivery of all our client's training courses. Primarily focusing on first aid, you will ensure that operatives are trained in accordance with industry regulations and that standards are maintained to ensure our client retains their 'world-leader' status.

Delivering training modules in both the UK and overseas locations, you will ensure operational standards are policed and existing skills are reinforced and expanded upon.

Additionally, you will assist the Logistics Director in researching and developing new weapons systems which will enhance the operational capacity of our client.

This role would suit members of the Royal Marines or British Armed Forces with experience of conducting weapon live firing exercises, ideally from a skill at arms or platoon weapons background.

You must also have the following:
- Experience of co-ordinating and delivering training
- Experience of undertaking armed transits on board commercial vessels
- An understanding of the maritime environment
- A high level of IT literacy, especially with MS Word and Excel

As an Armed Security Training Co-ordinator, you must have exceptional communication skills coupled with strong organisational attributes and plenty of initiative. Attentive and motivated, you must have a team player mentality and a flexible and adaptable approach to problem solving.

A First Aid at Work Instructor certificate, including PTTLS Level 3, would be beneficial to your application. A First Person On Scene intermediate certificate (FPOSi) would also be an advantage.
