CA Global Civil Infrastructure (Africa Careers) is currently sourcing on behalf of their client for a Safety and Security Manager (Infrastructure / industrial / Agriculture) – Sierra Leone
Overview:
Ensure company and contractors provide a safe working environment, while implementing safe working conditions in accordance to the company’s health, safety, social and environmental management standard.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist the HSSE manager in developing safety protocols and procedures in compliance with the HSSE management standards.
Implementation and maintenance of a safety monitoring and reporting system
Assist the HSSE team in developing and maintaining the implementation of emergency procedures which will provide appropriate responses to accidents or incidents
Manage the activities of contracted and in-house guard force personnel
Manage the installation and monitoring of automated safety systems
Requirements: Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant safety management qualification(s) or security management
Minimum 10 years professional safety experience in the construction, agricultural, processing or forestry industry
Minimum 10 years practical experience in security management
Excellent knowledge of electronic security and access systems
Strong verbal and written English skills with proven management experience
Contractual information:
Residential in Sierra Leone
Marital or single status
2 year contract
