Johnson Controls has an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Site Security Manager ** to join their team based in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will support to the Security Manager for all security related activity and centre of competence support function throughout the client location.
The Role of the Deputy Site Security Manager ** :
Provide strategic direction and advice on all site based security related matters
Ensure that the security service is compliant with the Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators are met
Ensure that the security service is compliant with the SIA guidelines and legislative requirements at all times.
Manage sub-contract security suppliers
Carry out security preliminary investigations as required and prepare written reports
Able to manage, develop and motivate the security team.
Able to make decisions in difficult or stressful situations
Manage all security incidents and coordinate emergency response with full liaison with client and Johnson Controls management
Focus on high customer satisfaction within service level targets.
Act as Security Manager in their absence
The ideal candidate should have/be:
Previous experience of working within a corporate security environment
Knowledge of security processes and principles
Holds a valid SIA Frontline Licence and driving licence
First aid trained
Security supervisory ability and supervisory aptitude
Self-motivated and goal orientated with ability to prioritise workload
IT literate, specifically MS Word and MS Excel
Ability to write detailed reports and business case preparation
Good understanding of technical Security systems (CCTV and Access Control)
Possess good contacts within the Police or Security Services
Willing to work shifts and irregular/flexible working times to support the Security Manager
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
