Our Public Sector practice has a strong and growing presence in the Defence, Security and Justice (DSJ) Sectors. We help our clients to deliver complex, critical engagements, deploying the full range of our specialist disciplines, from strategy to technology and including operations, programme leadership, organisational design and change. Deloitte practitioners are frequently the people in our client's programmes who drive a step-change improvement in the speed and quality of delivery.

As a Senior Manager in the team, you'll play a pivotal role both internally and externally. You will have a strong inward focus on building and developing the team to ensure effective delivery to clients, while externally you will focus on driving proposition development and exciting new business opportunities taking responsibility for winning new work. In this key role you will manage senior client stakeholders on a day to day basis.

Within our wider Operations team, our Operations Excellence practice focuses on the full life cycle of operations transformation: from Target Operating Model design; through to operations transformation, including process reengineering and operational performance improvement.
Target Operating Model - creation of the optimal business architecture for successful strategy realisation;
Process Transformation (including lean and 6 Sigma) - transformation of an organisation's processes at a business, functional or local level;
Continuous Improvement - development of long-lasting and self-sustaining improvement capabilities; and
Enterprise Cost Reduction - maximising sustainable savings in all areas of client organisations

If you are highly skilled in your specialist field, and possess the following attributes, we would be pleased to hear from you;
Understanding of issues faced in one or more of the DSJ sectors;
Experience of working on operations transformation projects;
Willing to work across different industries;
Experience of working on high-profile and complex engagements;
Current or past government Security Clearance;
Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or equivalent ;
Demonstrable experience of managing stakeholder relationships;
Excellent interpersonal skills; and
Ability to think creatively to solve client issues

Some of our projects require the highest level of security clearance so we would welcome applications from individuals with current Developed Vetting clearance, but this is not a pre-requisite for applying.
