Security Manager

Primary activities:
· Provide support to the Global Brand Intelligence Manager, Regional Investigation Managers, Regional Investigation Teams and HP partners on investigations focus strategy, data collation and analysis, intelligence database and management information systems. Areas of focus will be the ACF program in the supplies and hardware arenas.
· Direct and conduct complex internal and external analytical investigations support on behalf of HP. Manage, advise, guide and assist regional ACF analysts in EMEA, APJ and the Americas. Establish / promote effective inter-regional analytical co-operation, information sharing and co-ordination channels. Manage high volume & complex intelligence with little oversight.
· Be able to set a high standard in leading and managing analytical resources as part of the Global Brand Intelligence program team.
· Liaise with systems providers, vendors and other analysts to ensure the free flow of intelligence and appropriate data/product provision.

· Utilize information from the available case reporting, information management systems, and intelligence databases and global program performance data to analyze risk and ROI to gain business support for new proactive ACF initiatives. Provide periodic reporting – weekly / monthly / quarterly – as required by the Global Intelligence Manager

· Maintain current knowledge of industry approaches and available technology and develop new approaches and programs that minimize emerging security risks.

· Tailor and deliver analytical training programs to HP staff and contracted resources.

· Draft and produce communications material to support the Global Intelligence Manager to shape positively the external environment by engaging industry associations, regulatory and law enforcement agencies in the protection of HP’s intellectual property rights.


Qualifications
· Self-motivated and able to act independently and responsibly demonstrating sound and ethical judgment.
· Ability, at both a strategic and tactical level, to identify analytical issues and customize, implement/execute solutions.
· Experienced with i2 software and multiple areas of analytical security content to include technologies, theories and techniques.

· Provides highly innovative solutions to complex problems and presents complex data in a methodical and pertinent format.

· Ability to manage large, complex analytical projects within assigned budgets and timelines. Strong project management skills required.

· Criminal analysis security professional with typically 5+ years related experience , including a mix of corporate security and law enforcement, government, military or intelligence service. International security experience is essential.

· English speaker.

· Recognized criminal analysis qualifications / accreditations either from public and / or private sector are preferred.

· Excellent writing and speaking skills, with proven “customer service” orientation.

· Ability in the development of programs that solve complex problems within tight timeframes and budgets.

· Demonstrate ability to work with wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds, countries of origin, and at varying levels within the corporate structure.

· Established range of professional contacts, polished interpersonal skills, excellent research and writing abilities under extremely tight deadlines and competing demands, and familiarity with the range of professional literature in this area.

· Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in complex situations. Sound, proven judgment is a must.

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in professional experience and qualifications.

· Time flexible. Able and willing to prepare for, attend and present on conference calls as and when required – even if out of local hours.

· Occasional international travel required.
