Security Officer / CCTV Operator – Ramswalk - £7.42 per hour – 40 hours per week
Europa Support Services are currently seeking a Security Officer (Days) to ensure maximum security of the Shopping Centre is maintained at all times and to interact with the public and tenants in a professional and efficient manner at all times. You will already hold an SIA Guarding/Door Supervisors licence. You will work 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, that will include weekends on a rota basis.
As a Security Officer you will work with other team members and individually to ensure the safe running of the building.
The Security Team ensures exemplary standards of security and customer service are provided to the client and visitors at all times. You will be the public face of the security team and will therefore play an influential role in the success of our contract,
The key responsibilities for the Security Officer / CCTV Operator role will include:
To readily interact with all visitors / tenants within the site, delivering a first class customer focused service.
Ensure the on-going security and safekeeping of the shopping centre through proactive patrolling in line with company and site procedures.
Carry out duties in accordance with the site Assignment Instructions (AI’s). AI’s to be regularly reviewed and signed in line with company procedures.
Monitoring of the site CCTV systems in line with site procedures.
To ensure excellent relationships with our client, suppliers, tenants, colleagues and customers.
To administer first aid as and when required and if trained to do so.
Identify any defects / issues and report to the appropriate personnel in line with company policies and procedures.
To liaise with and assist the emergency services when required to do so.
Assist in the emergency evacuation of the centre as and when required.
Ensure that the radio system is monitored and respond to instructions from the control room as required.
The successful Security Officer will have:
Hold a CCTV AND Manned Guarding Licence
Previous experience in a customer facing role
Demonstrable experience is the security industry
