The Company operates a comprehensive food wholesale business from Dundee servicing SPAR stores throughout Scotland. We also directly manage over 100convenience stores. Security of our wholesale and retail assets isof prime importance to the Company. Due to impending retirement we are recruiting the following:
Security Manager
Based at our head office in Dundee (but with travel required throughout Scotland from time to time) you will report to the Managing Director and head up our dedicated security department and its activities. You will set operational security standards, provide security advice and organise department response to serious/emergency security incidents.Key responsibilities will include maintaining effective security at our main distribution centre, investigating stock and cashshortages/losses within the business and carrying out security evaluations and audits throughout our estate.
Ideally, you will have a proven track with the police having held a Chief Inspector to Detective Sergeant positionand/or work in security with a medium to large multi-site operation at management level. Professionalism, credibilityand respect will be key attributes that the company will require of the person.
