Deputy Security Manager

Campus Management & Services has a vacancy for a Deputy Security Manager. The Department is embracing change as it develops a business plan to focus its service delivery to match the Institution’s changing needs and demands. This is a key post suitable for an enthusiastic suitably qualified manager who will play an important role within the Senior Management Team of the Department.
Managing teams of security staff you will provide 24/7 security cover for all of the University’s premises. You will also lead on the use of technology in enhancing the security provision as well as liaising with key players in the Campus Community to ensure the safety and security of students,
staff and visitors to the University.


You will have relevant experience of supervising / managing staff in a large organisation where you have had experience dealing with a wide range of customers from a diverse background. You will have fundamental operating knowledge of PC packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and have a working knowledge of the principles and operation of Intruder Alarm, CCTV and Access Control Systems.


The successful applicant will be required to attend an SIA Door Supervisors training course, complete a DBS check and obtain a front line operators licence. Confirmation of appointment is subject to the award of this Licence.
