Job description
A highly professional and conscientious individual is sought; must be SIA Licensed for either Security Guarding or Door Supervisor and have a full 5 year checkable history (essential).
Working assignment location is Rockwool, Bridgend CF35 6NY and will pay a rate of £6.31 p/h working a 20 hours a week shift system including weekends and bank holidays. 28 days holiday per annum. You will be expected to cover a share of any holidays and sickness for team members so a high level of flexibility is expected.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
· Manning a 24 hour security gatehouse
· Opening and closing front of site gates
· Some searching of private and commercial vehicles exiting the site
· Immediate response to emergency alarms
· Controlling access and egress to/from the site loading areas
· Answering the telephone to both internal and external callers
· Locking and unlocking offices
· Monitoring the site CCTV system
· Booking in/out visitors and contacting the host
· Booking in/out contractors and contacting the host
· Making hourly check calls to the control room
· Own transport, although not essential is a distinct advantage
