We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an individual with significant Security and Management experience to join our established Security Team as an Assistant Security Manager within the Knightsbridge store.
The successful candidate will assist the Security Manager to recruit, manage, develop and motivate a team of Security Officers, Store Detectives, a Doorman and Administrator to minimise stock loss and ensure the security of the building whilst providing the very highest standard of service to Harvey Nichols customers and staff. In the absence of the Security Manager, the Assistant Security Manager will take control of all emergency and evacuation procedures at all times ensuring the safety of customers and staff.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working within and managing a security operation, preferably within a retail store. They must also have knowledge of data protection legislation, criminal law, arrest and court procedures and knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation including fire safety. Along with this they will have a positive 'can do' attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisation and time management skills. The ideal candidate will also be a SIA license holder.
The working hours for this position are 40 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, inclusive of weekends.
