Assistant Security Manager

At Park Plaza Westminster Bridge of PPHE Hotel Group we’re looking to recruit a Assistant Security Manager to take responsibility for delivering a safe and secure environment at this 1,019 bedroom hotel.

As an Assistant Security Manager you will ensure that the safety and security of both our guests and team members is maintained to the highest quality. It will also be the role of the Assistant Security Manager to support the Security Manager with the day to day running of the department and support the development of the team. The role will also ensure that the hotel is compliant with the law and that a safe environment for those who work and stay at our hotel is maintained with the support of the Security Manager. It will also be the responsibility of the Assistant Security Manager to adhere to the hotel and Park Plaza Hotels corporate guidelines and service concepts.

We are looking for
The ideal candidate for the role will:
Minimum of 5 years experience working within a hotel security department with supervisory experience
Desirable: Health and safety qualified (Nebosh, Iosh)
Ability to use Microsoft office packages to an intermediate level (i.e. Excel)
Strong motivational and leadership qualities
Passion for the hospitality/security industry
Ability to work and manage a large team
Strong analytical skills and previous exposure to departmental budgets and payroll
Experience of developing team members
Passion for the hospitality industry
Ability to work flexible hours when required
Excellent customer service skills and is passionate about exceeding guest expectations
Able to work in a fast paced working environment and remain calm under pressure
Ability to maintain high standards of work whilst dealing with high volume
Possess an excellent command of English and has excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and be able to connect with other live up to our mission statement: Inspiring our guests through individuality and passion!
