Security
Manager London - Permanent - Up to £70k My client is currently seeking
a Security Manager to support the Security Director in providing the
management of all physical security functions and associated activity in
their London office. This global company will require you to be
responsible for all facility and asset protection, employee safety, the
issuing of corporate identification media, access control, the
management of the close CCTV systems. You will also be responsible
for ensuring compliance with the relevant company policies and
procedures. As the Security Manager, you will also support the Director
of Security in developing and implementing a regional security awareness
program to be delivered across the UK. You will oversee the day to day
management of security in London including first line management of any
on-site incident requiring Security assistance or action. This includes
management of all access control systems and protocols including the
issuing and tracking of corporate identification media, security and
fire emergency procedures. You will need to be able to manage resources
to ensure 24/7 accessible for their employees and consultants in Londo
as well as manage proper security and protection standards for all
external visitors and VIPs visiting their London offices. You will also
forge strong relationships with key individuals both domestically and
internationally. In order to be successful in gaining this position, you
will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience
and knowledge. Strong experience of working as a security manager in a
large organisation or equivalent experience in law enforcement or the
military High levels and experience of physical security, risk
management and mitigation and monitoring CCTV systems Understanding of
the principles of Business Continuity Planning Effective leader who is
able to successfully resolve conflict and address complex challenges in
the workplace Experience of managing staff and scheduling personnel
History of managing access control and ID card IT systems would be an
advantage Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to work
flexible hours when required Previous experience of working in banking
and finance would be a bonus A degree or equivalent or recognized
professional qualification in a relevant field If you believe you have
