Job Description:
• Responsible for the management of senior controllers, including identification and delivery of training and development requirement, performance management and succession planning
• Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation including; CCTV monitoring in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the Human rights Act, the Criminal Procedures & Investigation Act 1996, the Police and Criminal Evidence Act, 1984 and the Control Room Codes of Practice
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the site wide emergency strategy and business recovery plans
• To deliver training with all staff concerning emergency procedures, general operational duties and other specific requirements
• Producing monthly reports, statistics and presenting outcomes
• The production of, maintenance and historical recording of SOP’s and briefing sheet
• The management and implementation of Security and Health & Safety policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure on-going security and safety
• To Investigate and respond to all relevant complaints, ensuring they are dealt with in accordance with company policy
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of the site wide emergency strategy and business recovery plans
Candidate Profile:
• Previous experience in a similar role leading teams using strong leadership skills
• Proven track record of decision making in a pressurised fast paced changing
environment
• Robust operational knowledge of the latest CCTV and fire alarm systems
• Excellent communication and administrative skills with attention to detail
• A team player with a positive with a can do attitude to work
• Experience of managing budgets
• Knowledge of health and safety
• Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor License
