Senior Manager Physical Security

Responsible for managing all aspects of physical security relating to Visa Europe's premises and employees as well as ensuring that there is a well organised and tested process for
dealing with any potential security-related crisis.

Key Accountabilities:
* Manages Visa Europe's €2.5m guarding contract covering two data centres and all European offices.
* Manages Visa Europe's €300.000 maintenance contract to ensure all sites are maintained to a high standard.
* Delegate responsibility for the €2.5m guarding and maintenance contracts
* Accountable for the Management and coordination of all physical security plans relating to internal and external sponsored events.
* Organises travel risk briefings for employees travelling to high risk areas, informing them on the security situation and necessary precautions.
* Accountable for managing executive protection (personal security, secure transport etc.)
* Maintains awareness of physical security risks and works with key external stakeholders (i.e. law enforcement agencies etc.) in developing appropriate safeguards against these.
* Takes accountability for the key controls as they relate to physical security.

* Line management responsibility for a small team

Essential Criteria:

* Significant experience in a Security Management role, ideally within a data centre environment.
* People management and leadership skills.
* Technical knowledge and understanding of security systems and technology.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* The ability to develop a good overall understanding of how Visa Europe and key areas of the business work.
* Have a strong risk and control background.
