Role To ensure thatPPG sites are secured in line with all company requirements and to ensure that all personnel, visitors and contractors adhere to the company’s regulations, policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • To undertake administrative tasks to a satisfactory level to ensure compliance with departmental procedures.
  • To report any occurrence to team leaders
  • To carry out preventative checks on the Company’s working practices and highlight to facilities team leader any loopholes or flaws in the systems.
  • In the event of an emergency situation, to initially contain, manage and communicate to the Emergency Response team
  • Monitor all outside contractors on site.
  • Monitor all visitors to site.
  • To ensure a thorough and regular site perimeter patrol to ensure that the site security is not breached.
  • To ensure that all entries to buildings are locked and secure on a daily basis to protect the buildings and their contents.
  • To carry out checks on vehicles leaving and entering the site and report findings to enable appropriate action to be taken and to deter would-be thieves.
  • To ensure security breaches are kept to a minimum.
  • Ensure pathways are cleared of snow and gritted when required.
  • Other tasks as requested by line management.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Clean and current driving licence
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • No criminal record
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Ability to handle pressure in a calm manner
  • Previous production and supervisory experience will be advantageous.

Thursday9.30am – 6.00pm
Friday9.30am – 6.00pm
Saturday9.30am – 6.00pm
Sunday9.30am – 6.00pm
Monday9.30am – 6.00pm

With an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes each day, totalling 40 hours per week.
