Job description
A vacancy has arisen for a Patrol Officer/First Responder at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The ideal candidate will ideally have a Military or Security Services background with frontline Security / First aid experience, must have SIA door licence as a minimum.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
To ensure that the security operational systems and procedures are understood and adhered to.
To communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to Managers, Supervisors and other Company employees.
To make regular patrols of the site and its surrounding areas to detect and apprehend any offenders causing loss, or damage to the Company.
To carry out daily checks of the premises and any equipment therein, reporting any faults found to the Security Manager or Security Supervisor, whilst ensuring that all of the necessary documentation is also completed.
To assist other departments with situations that include, but not exclusively include, potential offenders, theft, vandalism and aggressive behaviour.
To provide first aid treatment to guests and employees.
To liaise effectively with the Emergency Services in emergency situations.
To carry out executive driving duties as required by the company directors.
To ensure that all lost property is dealt with in accordance with the company procedures.
Make themselves available for door duties at company and corporate functions, as and when necessary.
· To maintain confidentiality and to adhere to the Data Protection regulations.

Qualifications
Essential - SIA Licence (Door licence + up-skilling if required)
Clean driving licence (Max 6 points)
Desirable
1. First Aid at Work Certificate (3-Day)
2. FPOS Intermediate Certificate (First Person On Scene)
3. Handcuff Certification(Basic Training)
