Temporary Team Security Advisor UK Sporting Event 2015 (Subject to task confirmation/successful induction)
Start Date: 18 Sept 2015 to 31 October 2015
Daily rate
GW offers a competitive daily rate to all personnel. (payment only made for on-duty. No payment for off-duty periods)
Rotation
No Rotation – short-term task only
Duration of Task
Only 6 weeks dependent on team performances.
Travel Pay
No travel pay, contractors are to deploy from London.
Package

HIRING CRITERIA
* TSA’s must be SIA licenced to Close Protection Level
* Minimum of three years commercial experience, in a Management role
* Minimum of 7+ years Military or Police operational experience
* Must be able to demonstrate a positive, flexible and hands-on approach initiative and be tenacious
* Must be able to demonstrate previous experience of operating within a high performance environment.
* Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Fluency in written and spoken English
* Strong communications and IT skills, including use of all Microsoft programmes; Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook.
* TSA’s will be required to undergo DBS / CRB check
Highly Desirable:
* Previous experience of providing services to elite athletes in similar roles
* Knowledge of the sporting landscape with England/Wales or major events e.g Olympics
* Previous experience of working with people from different cultures
* Ability to speak a second relevant language
Job Duties
* Team security advisors (TSA) will be appointed to each team to advise and support the Team Liaison Officer (TLO) and teams on security and safety aspects relating to match and non – match venues as well as transit between venues or team bases.
* Advising TLOs on security matters and recommending best pract1ce security measures.
* Working closely with the Team Manager and other nominated team personnel.
* Supporting the TLOs 1n security matters AND other Tournament related operations as requested by the TLO.
* Liaising with hotels, training venues and other location security management I representatives.
* Liaising with Team Bus Drivers in regard to vehicle security checks I parking etc.
* Advising Tournament Security on team locations I arrival updates at Match Venues.
* Supporting the Tournament Security to ensure team security at both Match and non-match Venue
