Your role
As Security Supervisor you are the custodian of our property and assets. Your role is to ensure that through your knowledge and passion for your trade, our security team will constantly aim to maintain the highest standards of safety for all our guests and employees to enjoy.
Working as part of a larger management team you will demonstrate a flexible and adaptive hands-on approach in order to lead, guide and continuously train a team of Security Officers to ensure that all of our front and back of house areas are safeguarded against fire, theft or other safety hazards. Possessing distinct leadership qualities and a team player approach to provide a credible and consistent role model, you will be passionate about delivering a quality Security service with a meticulous eye for detail, maintaining your team’s standards through coaching and training in order to achieve the highest levels of service and presentation.
Your primary role will be the Supervision of a small team of Security Officer’s during our busy evening and night shift working between 7pm and 7am. Based within our security control room you will coordinate your team to undertake a range of security patrols around the premises and be on hand to deal with various safety incidents involving guests, contractors or staff. This is of course a role which will require you to often think on your feet as no two nights are ever the same; your skills may be required to manage security for a VIP event, provide arrival assistance for high profile individual, liaise with local security services and/or police, address H&S issues or deal with an guest or staff accident; simply put this role requires you to draw on multitude of security, guest service and management skills.


Your profile
A natural elegance for providing a luxurious level of service that is personalised, confident and calm with exceptional grooming standardsProven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar role, ideally gained within a multi-outlet 5* hotel or other large high end establishment
Previous experience of managing and Coordinating a large security team ensuring regular patrols ofthe hotel are undertaken in accordance with corporate safety and security policies and procedures maintaining a security presence in high traffic areas such as outlets and lobby areas
Have thorough knowledge of the upkeep and maintenance of security systems, such as CCTV and key card systems (Safelock)
Possess experience of dealing with the protection of high profile guests and celebrities, you will have a strong sense of discretion and be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality in your servicePrevious exposure to handling complex security issues and crisis managementA solid understanding of all UK Fire, Health & Safety legislation ideally (but not essentially) supported with a formal qualification such as NEBOSHWell versed and connected within the London security and police networkYour communication skills will need to be exceptional, in order to flawlessly connect with guests and colleagues from all over the world – a fluent level of spoken and written English is essentialPrior experience in other Hospitality roles is beneficialAll candidates must hold a current SIA licence and be a qualified First Aider
