We are hiring a team leader for one of our Vessel Protection Teams.
Are you a security agent with a military background (sergeant with portepee), experienced in leading groups and capable of speaking and writing English? Furthermore, you should be flexible regarding your location and you should have the willingness to seek for further education. First experiences on board are beneficial.
Your tasks:
Leading a Vessel Protection Team
Advising the crew about passive protection measures and hazard situations
Guaranteeing and complying with SOPs and RUF
Teaching the crew about risk minimising measures
Development and execution of exercises
Administrative tasks
Your profile:
Minimum age: 25 years
Substantial background in security services (minimum 4 years of military service)
Successfully absolved training following §34a GewO
Passed examination of competence following §7 arms law (“short” and ”long” weapons for professional weapon carriers)
Perfect certificate of good conduct
Fitness for sea service
Basic safety training following STCW
Seaman’s book
Training as first aid assistant
