My client is an FTSE 250 outsourcing business, with turnover over exceeding £2b plus.
Due to an internal restructure and a rapid period of growth there is currently a need to recruit a FM Head of Security with a preference for experience within the Facilities Management market place.
Responsibilities:
To undertake regular risk reviews, inspections and security tests across the portfolio and make recommendations/ improvements on all aspects of security delivery to IFM team and the client.
To chair monthly service review meetings with all delivery partners and to develop/drive improvement plans where issues are identified
To chair security innovation forum to ensure that all parties are working collaborative to drive security performance
To develop and deliver monthly security report detailing current security risk, security performance, improvement and key business risks FM Account Director and the client
Act as primary interface between the Group Security and my client to support in developing and delivering to security policies and procedures
To work with the client’s retail team on identifying and improving security training and inductions to all staff
To work with Vodafone FM Intelligence Centre Director/Manager in ensuring intelligence data and changing risk environment is shared across the contract
Person Specification
Security professional with a proven management and operational experience within the security industry, Telecoms/Media Sector or CNI environments
Proven knowledge and experience of managing both manned and technology based security activities
Proven ability to adapt security protocols to changing security environments
Knowledge of security best practice and legislation affecting the security role
Sound judgement and decision-making skills, with a ‘hands-on’, problem solving approach, able to remain calm under pressure and take control of incidents.
