Global Security Advisor / Project Manager This is an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated security professional with the ability to convert strategic thinking into realistic policy and implementation plans. It requires a task-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and issues. You will be required to have a solid background in security management, ideally gained across a broad spectrum of environments. Accompanying your technical skills in risk assessment and security planning, you will be providing your expert security advice globally. You will be working with our offices around the world – from London and Washington to the DRC, Nigeria, South Africa and Indonesia. You will ensure that our company has a structure and system in place to manage security effectively. You will be a crucial link in the chain of security management between our offices and employees. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
Provides general protective services coverage with the application of close protection fundamentals to ensure the safety of client personnel and assets including, when required, protection for clients. Active Duties · Develop threat mitigation strategies for both physical and digital threats. · Prepare and implement security policies and procedures and ensure compliance among staff. · Investigate security violations and threats, prepare reports specifying threat prevention and mitigation procedures. · Take effective steps to ensure workplace security conditions with ongoing analysis of data received from both external and internal sources. · Conducts protective advance operations. · Conduct Work Place Violence & Self defense training. · Provide timely advice based on analysis /assessment of security risk / threat and impact to enable well informed business decision. · Assessment, planning and execution of those Crisis Management activities that are the direct responsibility of the Security Function i.e. Kidnap and Ransom, Extortion, Evacuation, Civil/Military Unrest. · Be capable of exploiting all sources of information to obtain and collate detail on all threats or potential threats to the Company. Have the ability to produce timely, accurate, detailed and concise written and verbal reports/reviews. Qualifications Required · Executive protection experience on a global level. · Active shooter response training. · Crisis management experience. · required to provide stand-by services during the week-end, holidays and outside normal working hours. · Have knowledge of all aspects of physical and electronic security. · Languages: For this post, fluency in oral and written English is essential. Conversational Arabic is desired. · A minimum of 15 years as an armed forces officer. Candidates should have held the rank of Corporal or higher. · Functional proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel · Military Physical Security course or equivalent preferred. · Must have a current security clearance prior to start date. · Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with others effectively. ·
