Job description
MMS is currently seeking to appoint a Security Officer for our busy shipyard. This is a full time, permanent position of 45 hours per week,working on a rotating shift system.
The shift pattern is as follows:
Week 1:
Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 1:00 pm
Saturday7.00 am to 5:00 pm
Week 2:
Monday to Friday 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Sunday7.00 am to 5:00 pm
The post holder must be flexible as the job role is varied and does not just provide security cover but also some general yard duties.
To be considered for this role you should be reliable, able to work independently and be computer literate with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience of working within the security environment would be preferred but is not essential.
