Security Operations Manager

Hudson is currently working in partnership with an established brand in Scotland to recruit a Security Operations Manager to be based within the client’s site in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Head of Security, this is a critical and exciting role that will requires demonstrable management skills, the ability to drive process and manage metrics. It is essential that you possess experience in technology, compliance, operating procedures, change management and high volume activity. You will have overall responsibility for a large team of officers and managers.

As an inspirational leader, you will have full responsibility for motivating, coaching and developing your team by providing the right tools, techniques and support to deliver an exceptionally high level of service that promotes the client brand.

You will play a key role in ensuring standard operating procedures and change initiatives, meet objectives by increasing employee adoption and usage whilst also maintaining high standards and driving efficiencies.

You will take full responsibility for delivery of security performance targets daily basis using data to provide relevant reports and efficient/effective outcomes

Key to this role will be the use of innovation to develop customer insight and tailor the operation accordingly .

You will be responsible for improving the customer experience through monitoring real time feedback and driving improvements through the team. Candidates must be able to demonstrate
Strong people-management and customer service.
The ability to report and present monthly financial performance effectively.
A comprehensive knowledge of Security Operations – this is desirable.
Strong relationship management to build good working relationships with functions to ensure that incidents are handled effectively.
Six-sigma/ Lean continuous improvement methodology.
Experience of working in "customer" and "people" processes.
Operational Management experience would also be an advantage.
Experience of data analysis and manipulation to improve operational performance.

You should ideally be degree qualified or equivalent and possess a high standard of computer literacy, including excel.. You will be a confident communicator with strong leadership skills, A track record of successful delivery of tangible results through individual contribution and engagement of teams/individual is essential.
