Would you like be responsible for the operations of in one of the country’s most interesting Defence companies? We currently have a vacancy for a Security Operations Manager here at BAE Systems based in Portsmouth
As a Security Operations Manager, you will be an effective point of contact for both customers and BAE Systems operations and be responsible for supporting the business on a number of projects and programmes.
Responsibilities
Provide support to the business and support the projects and programmes in the UK giving affective advice on Security.
Be the focal point for security to managers, staff and other stakeholders, ensuring consistent effective standards of info and advice
Carry out audits and support SHE investigations as required.
Lead the function in the preparation of bid proposals
Mitigate security risks to the business by the implementation of knowledge, experience and policy
Your skills and qualifications:
Experience within a senior security management position
Experience in working within a diverse project environment
Knowledge and delivery of HMG security policy and knowledge and experience of ITSEC and COMSEC
Understanding of UK law pertinent to security role
Membership of accredited security association, TSI, ASIS would be desirable
