An excellent opportunity has arisen for an energetic, bright and hard-working individual to join the Operations team at Brands Hatch race circuit as the Security Operations Manager (SOM).
The SOM will lead the Brands Hatch site security team to ensure the smooth operational running of a department providing a 24/7 security presence at the venue. The Security function is responsible for providing a safe and welcoming environment, offering a high level of service as the first point of contact to a diverse range of visitors. The post holder will be expected to provide a professional interface with the public, ensuring that the necessary protections are in place and that all visitors are properly and appropriately secured against threat.
The SOM will have line management responsibility for a small team of security staff and will report to the Circuit Manager. The successful candidate will be required to challenge existing working practices and will be experienced in change management, willing to lead a cultural shift where required. This position is a pro-active position and candidates should be able to identify and implement security developments dynamically at an operational level.
They will ideally have 5+ years experience in the Security Industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. The successful candidate will possess a current SIA Door Supervisor Licence, will have excellent written and spoken English and a meticulous attention to detail. A significant amount of weekend working will be essential.
