Security Team Leader St Pancras Hospital [AG190NL713]

Engie are recruiting for a Security Team Leader to be based in St Pancras Hospital NW1 0PE. This is a permanent full time role working 36 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary . 

The role holder will report to Security Supervisor. As a Security Team Leader you will be carrying out the following duties:

• Supervising the front line security service delivery utilising all available resources in a cost effective manner
• Working with other service line managers to ensure subcontractors are put to work safely in accordance with company standards
• Ensuring appropriate levels of staffing are available on site and to report to the Area Security Manager any absences
• Managing time and attendance paperwork
• Supervising delivery of the Service Level Agreements as they apply to Security and related services
• Inducting and training new employees in the Security team
• Monitoring and developing employees’ performance through training and regular reviews
• Delivering training and corporate briefings
• Monitoring and covering absences when necessary
• Ensuring effective use of equipment and materials y all security officers
• Resolving or escalating any issues raised by employees
• Ensuring safe working environment through the use of risk assessments, PPEs, training and company procedures
• Act as local liaison for client sites
• Assisting security management with the development of Assignment Instructions and Local operating procedures
• Ensuring resourcing levels are appropriate in accordance with SLAs and client requirements
• Ensuring all procedures are carried out in Line with Assignment Instructions and LOPs
• Ensuring compliance with BS7499, 7858, 7958 and other British Standards as appropriate
• Undertaking any other duties relating to security that may be requested by the line management

Where there is no supervision present and a CCTV is present
• Ensure surveillance and monitoring of CCTV is carried out at all times
• Maintain audit checks of CCTV system procedures including:
• Image data, recorded/destroyed


Qualifications 
• SIA licence
• CCTV licence will be beneficial
• Driving licence
• Previous experience. Security work within healthcare will be a benefit
• Lifting, Surveillance Skills, Deals with Uncertainty, Judgment, Objectivity, Reliability Emotional Control, Integrity, Safety Management, Professionalism, Reporting Skills
