Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Peterborough, for a dynamic Dual Service Manager, to lead the on-site team and integrate with Centre Management in a busy Shopping Centre. The successful candidate will be the central point of communication for the Centre Management Team, VSG and the on-site security and cleaning personnel.
The Consolidated Services Manager will be responsible for providing clear and timely communication to all staff within the centre on key issues that affect the business operation and high levels of customer service delivery.
You will be working alongside the VSG Area Manager, and Client Management Team, to develop, implement and maintain appropriate policies, procedures, training and guidance which represent best practice in the areas of security, cleaning and business continuity.
Essential Experience
Ability to contribute toward a large security / cleaning team and can work on their own initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels within the organisation.
Possess good man-management and interpersonal skills
A comprehensive working knowledge of implementing and managing processes and procedures
A skilful negotiator who is capable of resolving issues using their own experience and initiative.
A decisive and assertive decision maker who can interpret situations to proceed with a prioritised action plan that achieves the results required.
Excellent report-writing and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
Budgetary and accounts knowledge
Knowledge of a Shopping Centre operation is not essential as full training will be provided
Knowledge of the Security & Cleaning industry is not essential as full training will be provided.
Desirable Experience
Experience of managing people and challenging situations
Excellent oral communicator
Strong written skills for reports, incidents, e-mails etc
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Understand Health & Safety requirements and reporting
Knowledge of working within a public space environment
Computer literate
