Security Manager - Stamford Bridge Football Ground

Salary: £50K p.a
Weekly Hours: 48 per week;
Pay Frequency: Monthly.

The role will require, as a minimum, one non-match day weekend site visit per quarter which will be taken as a day in lieu and one night site visit bi monthly.

Match Day and Sunday work will be required when operational needs occur. Days in lieu will accrue when weekend work is performed.
Out of Hours Duty Manager First and Second line cover will be required.

Job Purpose:

To deliver effective and dynamic security services offered by the company to Chelsea Football Club at Stamford Bridge Football Stadium. The role holder will drive areas such as ensuring full compliance with company policies and procedures, staff welfare, continuous improvement and ultimately customer satisfaction.

The successful applicant will be motivated, pro-active with a desire to deliver the very best service to Chelsea Football Club.

Key Responsibilities:
Overview

•Responsible for Operational Service delivery in line with the Client’s and ISS’s security strategy of operations and service optimisation and innovation, financial responsibility, leadership and engagement;
•Leading a team of 40 Managers, Supervisors and Security Officers;
•Developing security standards and conducting compliance audit where required;
•Responsible for the management and service delivery of all security staff based at Stamford Bridge Football Ground in line with Key Performance Indicators and Contractual Obligations;
•Working in conjunction with the Client and departmental stakeholders responsible for the functional delivery of site operations in order to deliver a safe and secure workplace for our Client’s staff and visitors;
•Present operational updates on performance and key issues across the Client’s property;
•Provide risk assessment and physical security recommendations for the Client’s assets;
•Working closely with the Client and Key Stakeholders to ensure robust and site specific Counter Terrorism, Evacuation and Fire Life safety procedures are in place;
•Working closely with the Key Client Stakeholders aligning both their and their suppliers’ activity with Security standards;
•Monitoring, warning, escalating and reporting of incidents with the potential to impact on Client Staff, Visitors, Physical Assets and Reputation;
•Contributing to staff induction processes; monitoring of security systems on the Client’s property;
•Responsibility for all security processes and functions completed by security personnel at Stamford Bridge.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Preferable Skills;


•Demonstrable experience of working across cultures and within multi-disciplinary teams.
•Excellent written and oral Communication skills and strong Presentation skills;
•Excellent communication skills are imperative in this role. The role holder will display a very strong ability to hold his/her own with decision-makers, in addition to poise tenacity, confidence, maturity, and humility;
•Practical experience of security management services such as the development of incident management plans, event and sports arena security, development of security concepts and the conduct of security risk assessments;
•Experience of managing a guard force ideally gained within a commercial security environment;
•Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to lead personnel engaged in security-related monitoring, warning and reporting tasks;
•A working knowledge of current technical security systems would be a strong advantage
•Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, Client and senior management;
•Highly competent on the following packages: Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum;
•A minimum of 5 Years Security experience at a management level or above;
•Security degree level qualifications and/or CISA/CISM/CISP/CPP qualifications an advantage;
