Job Introduction:
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Security Team Leader to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team in Hemel Hempstead area.
This role is integral to the success of this busy team. Your primary focus is to schedule all staff to work over varying shift patterns using company IT & software. Pay, HR, KPI reporting and General Administration functions will require the successful candidate to have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt in an ever changing environment
Role Responsibility:
Main Job Functions
Staff Rostering of duties, ensuring site is fully manned at all times.
Staff monthly welfare reviews
Staff training, on the job
Control Room Operations and Administration
Staff annual leave Management
ESS site link scheduling and maintenance
Electronic Access, Alarm & CCTV Monitoring and incident response
First Aid response ( Officer’s fully trained )
Incident/Emergency response & reporting
Security documentation monthly audits and amendments
30 Day inactive card suspensions & deletions
Management of restricted access policy
Check and report staff hours before month end to prevent pay & invoice queries
Maintain up to date company documentation (Policies, Processes & Records)
Help to Co-ordinate High level Big Events
Auditing- Tailgating, Badge wearing and Clean Desk (nights only) on a daily basis
Management of Reception, Plus Visitor’s and staff
Monitoring building Internal Alarms and Fire Exits door Alarms.
Secondary Job Functions
Formal Disciplinary/Grievance interviews (company witness request only)
Duties out with scope of Assignment Instructions
Ensure site and company H&S policy is complied with at all times
Report all unsafe activities to Customer & Contract Manager immediately
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal andidate will have an extensive experience in the security sector ond/or managerial position.
Other Skills/Abilities
· First Aid qualified
· SIA Security Guarding Licence
