To ensure we continue to provide a first class service to our Customers and Clients, we are recruiting for a Tactical Security Operations Manager to join our Security Team, regionally based. Reporting directly to our Head of Security & Risk, you will be responsible for operating to the highest security standards and maintaining a sound current knowledge of the threats and risks that our business faces.

What Is The Role?

As a Tactical Security Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing five Regional Asset Protection Officers in delivering an effective risk management and loss prevention strategy, whilst supporting the operation and commercial effectiveness of CTUK.
What Will I Be Doing?

Collation, quality check and submission of site survey output and incident reporting in order to ensure effective risk profiling processes so that appropriate actions are taken to mitigate business risk.
Contributing to security projects, business change; providing work stream input and delivery as required
Lead, direct and develop (in line with CTUK values) all field based security team colleagues so that they are fully capable and engaged in order that individual performance levels are maximised.
Planning the site survey schedule (week to week), resource deployment and implementation of improvement actions.
Participating in the longer terms strategic planning of the Security Department, futureproofing the risk management and business security for CTUK.
Input into the development of security audit processes and conduct security audits of CIT depots as required in order to identify improvement requirements to ensure the adherence to company policy and procedures in order to ensure compliance to all H&S, legal, regulatory (ISO, SIA/ACS) and company requirements (QMS) ensuring full reporting and completion of relevant documentation as required.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, in order to ensure an efficient service is delivered to the Security Team so that the function can operate effectively.
Proactively develop and maintain knowledge on security industry best practice, including new products, approaches etc. (CIT or ATM Crime Subject Matter Expert).
Providing Regional Asset Protection Officer level cover for threat and vulnerability assessments, attack reporting etc. for a reduced local region.
Maintaining and building national relationships with law enforcement and ensuring effective police liaison in the interests of CTUK.What Will I Need to Succeed?

A current and full UK driving licence (ideally no more than a maximum of 6 penalty points)
Previous experience of coaching, mentoring and/or developing a team/inderviduals
Flexible approach to working patterns
Good problem solving and analytical skills
A high standard of personal integrity, discretion and tact maintaining confidentiality where required
Ability to lead through others in addition to being a team player
Security awareness and the aptitude for identifying opportunities and improvements
Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines

£34,000 - £36,000 per annum
