About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an Security Manager to join our Major Projects business unit to work in London.
What you'll be doing
As a Security Manager, you will:
Maintaining daily liaison with the Client Project Security Manager
Delivering and managing a system for (a) Prevention of unauthorised access to worksites (b) the prevention and detection of crime, and (c) all crime and security related issues.
Supervision and audit of performance of the Project Security Company and their staff at the various worksites, especially with regard to: training, emergency preparedness, safety performance and first aid, and competence of their management and staff.
Advising with formulating and implementing corporate and local worksite plans in respect of Emergency and Security responses.
Providing heightened quality and strict management of access/egress control to all sites, and especially those within or adjacent to areas of a recognised permanent terrorist threat.

Who we're looking for
You will have:
Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Have worked in a similar role at senior level in the construction industry
Strategic orientation with ability to act tactically, as required
Member of SIA with specific qualification
