About the role:

We are now recruiting for an Assistant Director of Security for both Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.


Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Security to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Security Department and that all related Security, Fire, Emergency and Crisis Management procedures and are adhered to throughout the Carlton Tower and The Lowndes Hotel, in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures. To maximise prevention of crime to minimise all potential losses.

Duties will be as follows:
To maximise prevention of crime through regular presence of security officers in all areas of the hotel.
To ensure all Hotel colleagues have a sound knowledge of Hotel Security procedures and are fully briefed on the importance of Security Awareness
Ensuring measurable quality objectives are established and actively participate in the review of these objectives
To ensure proper procedures are implemented for any incidents which occur in the hotel.
To maintain an excellent working relationship with the local Metropolitan Police, Foreign Office, Customs & Excise, Scotland Yard, Immigration and any other pertinent Civil authorities.
To be responsible and support the planning and completion of statutory Fire and Emergency Training provided for all colleagues including all levels of management
To be responsible and support int the management of the CCTV System and co-ordinate all maintenance as and when required
To be responsible for all for the recording, storage and disposal of all Lost and Found property including valuable items as per the relevant policy and procedure.
To conduct investigation meetings with hotel guests and colleagues (as appropriate) and be responsible for submitting all completed reports in a timely manner.
Complete and submit the required reports to Group Security accurately within the required time frame.

About you:

Essential

Recognised Security Industry qualification
Completed and certificated higher education
Experience in multi-cultural organisation.
Experience at operational and strategic level.
Possess well-rounded knowledge in security operations and training.

Desirable
Recognised Security training certificates e.g Health & Safety
Degree in related subject
Police and military background
Oral and written communication skills in a second language
