Role Purpose:

- To ensure the smooth and effective day to day running of the site based security team.
- To maintain excellent communication with the Site Management team, and to ensure that agreed levels of service and contractual requirements are achieved as a minimum.
- To motivate the security team and drive service improvement.

Essential criteria to meet:

- Be able to deliver the highest standard of customer service and have excellent communication skills
- Have an SIA DS/CP and CCTV Licences and awareness of health and safety requirements
- Be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of ASCONE, and DPA and Fire Legislation
- Have excellent IT skills to use TimeGate, Email, Word and Excel effectively
- Be calm and professional in emergency situations, taking the lead and dealing with any issues

Required

- Have the ability to manage a security contract within budgets, meeting all requirements
- Be experienced in supervising staff, ideally managing welfare, disciplinary and development issues

Desirable criteria to meet:

- Be experienced in delivering training to staff, and have experience of team building
- Have experience within the security industry, specifically managing a large security team
- Be polite, helpful and diligent, with a 'can do' ethos with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to support with partnership working, including delivering outside presentations
