About Us

When we started QVC in the UK in October 1993, we knew we were creating a very special business. The idea of bringing a magical shopping experience to customers in the comfort of their own home was special in itself. But we also knew that to make our customers really happy, we needed to build a team of people who absolutely loved their work. So that’s exactly what we did. Twenty years later, and it’s a completely different world. We’re still on TV, plus we've recently launched our new channels QVC Beauty, QVC Style and QVC Extra, but we’re also online, on mobiles, Facebook, Twitter…whatever’s right for our customers right now, we’re right on it.

Behind the scenes you’ll find a thriving community of nearly two thousand high performing and highly engaged QVC people all contributing to a culture that is uniquely QVC. Many of our people have grown up here and built brilliant careers, to our people working at QVC offers more than a job, it’s a way of life. Everyone that joins us remarks even after one day how different it feels to other organisations they have worked for previously. We think the reason for this is simple –we’re committed to making QVC a great place to work and creating the best employee experience for our people. The energy and hard work that we have put into this was officially recognised earlier this year as QVC was accredited as one of Britain’s Top Employer 2014, something that we are incredibly proud of.
