Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Deliverables:
We are currently recruiting for a Security Supervisor in Maidenhead.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
Job Purpose:
To supervise the provision of high visibility security guarding at the client properties / buildings and surrounding grounds at corporate sites and Data centres.
Principal Accountabilities:
Supervise 3 direct reports
To carry out all duties in accordance with the site assignment instructions (Al’s) and the AIs are up-to-date with any changes
To carry out all instructions issued by either the EMCOR Soft Services Manager
Responsible for all operations carried out by shift personnel and / or day security officers
Has the authority of a Manager whenever the SSM is not on site. All decisions made, and actions authorised , in the Manager’s name are to be cleared with them as soon as they returns to the site
Responsible for the compliance with all assignment instructions of all personnel under his / her direction for all sites
To control and administer the access control system, as per the client security manual
To control and administer the CCTV system in line with the current provisions of the Data Protection Act
To make sure that all staff are SIA licensed, and client vetted
To make sure that all staff are first aid trained and de-fib trained at all times
To reduce down time of any security equipment, by correct reporting of all faults, and breakdowns
Produce all KPI’s and SLA’s required by the EMCOR Account Manager and deliver them on time
To carry out all training of security personnel in accordance with the training plan. Ensure all training is logged and up to date
Ensure all changes to roster information for all personnel is emailed to the relevant manager
Take all necessary practical steps to ensure holiday and sickness cover is provided for all shift officers, day security officer
To form a relationship with the client’s Risk & Security team and EMCOR’s security department
Person Specification:
Security Industry Qualifications – Front line SIA Licence for Security Officers
CCTV PSS Licence essential
Full driving licence
A good level of interpersonal skills and customer relationship skills

An understanding of a basic police and other emergency services procedures
Knowledge of the phonetic alphabet
CCTV Monitoring experience
Experience of hand held radios
