The role will be assisting the Security Manager in day to day security operation, ensuring security & safety standards are implemented, policies and procedures are adhered to at all times, providing the security manager with necessary reports related to security deployment, controlling areas of activities making sure contractors are complying with shift timings and dedicate specific number of guards and security equipment.
You will prepare and deliver on-the job training plans for security guards, and you will assume the responsibility of the Security Manager in his absence.
Key accountabilities will include managing staff, event coordination, maintaining security compliance, training and induction of security staff, CCTV operation, etc.
This role will report to the Security Manager and will be based out of Doha Festival City, Doha, Qatar.
About You:
Candidates who are fluent in both Arabic and English will be given preference for this role as there will be a high level of interaction with local Qatari nationals.
We are looking for a person with 5-7 years of experience managing security for very large properties at an operational level and candidates must have prepared and delivered security training to a team of staff. People who have managed security during large events would be preferred and you must have experience managing a team and currently or previously held a Supervisor, Team Leader or Managerial role.
GCC experience will be ideal.
Candidates must be flexible to work in rotational 24/7 shifts, 5 days a week.
