Security Officer

We are currently looking for a Security Officer to join our Security team at Mondrian London.

The main responsibility of the Security Officer would be the protection of the hotel and its assets and the safety and security of all those who work, visit or stay at the hotel.

Key responsibilities:
· To prevent theft and damage to the property of our guests, staff and the Company.

· To assist guests and staff with evacuating the building at times of emergency ensuring that panic is minimised and order is maintained.

· To sustain the Security Control Room, and oversee all persons entering via the Staff entrance.

· To ensure that all Visitors/Contractors sign in and out and are escorted appropriately.

· To assist other departments with any requests unless otherwise engaged.

· To report and record all accidents and incidents related to both guests and staff members.

· To maintain a close working relationship with all departments and keep Manager on Duty informed of all relevant instances and occurrences.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar position at a high end hotel

A high level of safety understanding, particularly Health & Safety and Fire Regulations. The Security Officer will be expected to be aware of all new and amended legislation related to hotel security, fire and criminal Law.

Ability to assess information and communicate it in a clear and concise manner.

Ability to multitask and work under pressure – As the ‘first point of contact’, the Security Officer will be required to deal with a wide range of situations and inquiries effectively and efficiently and often under pressure.
