Assistant Security Manager

Our Security Department play a key role in ensuring our guests stay is as enjoyable as possible and to assist us in that aim, we now seek a highly driven and organised individual to join our team.

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient day to day operation of the Village Security team. Managing a team of Security Officers, you will be responsible for providing effective security for the village and its guests, 24 hours a day, ensuring thorough and robust investigations of reported incidents and crimes.

Your team will be the initial contact for our guests, work colleagues and contractors, and the role includes managing access to the Village, security foot and mobile patrols of the Village and perimeter, dealing with security related incidents as well as being a first aid response.

Hours Of Work: 
You will be contracted to work 168 hours per period on a flexible basis. You will be working on a 4 days on / 4 days off shift pattern alternating between day and night shifts. Shifts are 6.30am to 6.30pm or 6.30pm to 6.30am. As our village is open 365 days of the year your role, dependant on your rota, will involve working bank holidays and Christmas and/or New Year.

About You:
Essential requirements:

A minimum of 2 years previous Security experience, preferably managing small teams
You will hold / be willing to work towards SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor Badge
You will be able to inspire others in your team to work to the best of their abilities
Your attention to detail will ensure your team complies with company policies and expected standards of performance
You must have a cheerful disposition with a ‘can do’ attitude
Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
A current Driving Licence

Desirable requirements:
First Aid at Work Certificate
