Our client is a leading iGaming operator and they’re interested in hiring a Fraud & Security Manager to assume responsibility of the security teams at their offices in Canada. The team is responsible for the investigation of fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities by customers, the prevention and recovery of losses caused by such activities and the player account compliance responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• To proactively manage the prevention of fraudulent activity and to manage the amount and value of chargebacks due to fraud to within the required limits set by the online payment providers
• Conduct and/or coordinate investigations into fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities that could cause losses to or claims against the Company
• To ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and implemented relating to Fraud and potential fraud, whilst also implementing and reviewing proactive processes and reports
• Manage the exchange of information, ID documentation, and details pertaining to players on the Electoral Roll and other registers
• Develop, review, recommend and implements policies and procedures to detect and prevent the occurrence of fraudulent, illegal, or improper activities
• Liaise with the Operations team to balance efficiency concerns with assurance of adequate security controls.
• Compile reports to keep management informed of department activities, such as the nature and status of the investigations in progress, determining recommending appropriate punitive or actions and restitution to affected customers
• Support the sales team on client requests, RFP’s and any other support in terms of scoping, pricing and delivering F&S related activities.
• Manage, mentor, train, recruit and retain the F&S team thru merit based reviews and working closely with the designated HR support.
• Continually review the team, policies, procedures and quality to look for ways to improve the level of service and the efficiency of the team.
• Optimize the costs associated with the delivery of the service and help to project and manage to a budget
• Support the global P&S product team and help to be a thought leader in the Americas Region in the area of F&S and account compliance/KYC for interactive.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years’ Fraud and Security experience within the online gaming environment is a requirement of the role
• A track record of successful implementation of Fraud prevention with a proven track record of with improved financial performance is a must
• The ability to think both analytically and creatively and always seek to identify solutions rather than problems
• The ability to effectively manage and motivate a team including regular feedback and identification of excellence and areas for improvement.
• Sound knowledge of current laws, regulations, and common practices in the security field
