Job Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Contracts Manager in our Security team, based in our EDF NNB office.

The Security Contract Manager is lead for the delivery of best in class physical security services to the EDF Nuclear New Build offices in Bristol - an extension of the G4S Hinkley Point C contract, the Security Contract Manager will be responsible for all aspects of physical security, client liaison and G4S security staff management.

Role Responsibility:

The job holder must have excellent customer facing skills, be highly organised and able to communicate confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders.
On site lead for the delivery of physical security services
Liaison with EDF NNB and other key stakeholders
Ensure that HS&E is at forefront of delivery
Owner of cultural maturity improvement actions
Ensure standards of service meet or exceed EDF NNB expectations in line with Key Performance Indicators and contractual obligations
Support the interface with EDF NNB and develop relationships with other stakeholders.
Ensure effective communications between all elements of the security team and EDF NNB
Lead the Security Team ensuring they are suitably developed, trained, rehearsed, briefed, ready and available to carry out their roles and responsibilities at all times
Ensure a 100% OMS record of all security staff is maintained
Seek to enhance service delivery and develop opportunities to add value to the contract
Ensure contractual compliance is delivered at all times
Support the Hinkley Point C Account Director to ensure that all policies and procedures in place are compliant with legislation, ISO 9002 requirements and that G4S’ own controls (OMS, AIs, Site Security Instructions, Risk Assessments etc.) are in place and up to date – support will be provided by the HPC Account Director and his team
Ensure available assets are used to best effect at all times to maximise security provided on site


The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Requirements
A security professional with prior experience of commercial security gained in a corporate, Critical National Infrastructure, Police or Military environment
Contract management or Supervisory experience
Experience of training, needs assessments and delivery
Experience and understanding of project management
Thorough understanding of H&S requirements
5 years checkable work history
Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
Fluent written and spoken English
