A successful candidate should have:
High School diploma
At least 2 years of experience in Security field in UAE
Good knowledge of safety and security principles and practices in UAE.
Knowledge of CCTV systems.
Good oral and written English communication. Additional languages are an asset.
Valid DPS Certificate is a must.
Main Duties / Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintain a state of vigilance with regards to the general safety condition and availability of emergency escape routes, fire exits, and portable firefighting equipment, general building housekeeping, patrol the perimeter area regularly and pay attention to any fire threats, lost property, suspicious persons or other activities.
Document accidents or any incidents occurring as per existing procedure and in a log book.
Notify Supervisor immediately in the event of an emergency or the attendance of any emergency personnel such as the Police or the Civil Defense.
Ensures that all fire exits and corridors are free from obstruction at all times.
Respond to any fire/smoke alarms in the areal and be ready to act accordingly.
Ensure that all firefighting equipment is in working condition and that emergency lights are all illuminated.
Handle all incoming information with confidentiality and forward to the concerned person.
Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
