WHAT WE DO
Based in our Larkfield Distribution Centre, the Security Officers ensure the DC, its team and stock are kept secure.
THE ROLE
As a Security Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising two Security Officers and identifying and preventing internal and external theft.
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?:
Valid SIA Qualification
Previous experience as a security officer within a similar role
An excellent team player who will go the extra mile
Reliable with exceptional time keeping
A natural at using your initiative, being flexible and doing everything you do to the best of your ability
Enthusiastic and able to work with minimal supervision
First aid training and health and safety qualifications beneficial
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?:
Manning the security desk where staff and visitors sign in and out for their shifts
Conducting spot check searches on employees in the DC
Checking all employees as they leave at the end of their shift
Conducting random cab checks of vehicles in the loading bay
Carrying out car checks on any vehicles in the DC car park
General surveillance
Any ad hoc duties required from time to time
