Hours: Standard working week of 42/48
Pay Rate: £7.20 per hour
IK9 Security are looking to recruit well motivated, smart and energetic people who wish to work in the security industry and build a career as a professional dog handler. We are seeking candidates in Pontefract, Leeds, Huddersfield, Barnsley and throughout Yorkshire.
You must hold a full UK driving License and a valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor license. You must be willing travel and sometimes work unsociable hours. To find out more please visit our website: www.ik9securityservices.co.uk
Duties:
· Regular site patrols.
· Communicating with members of the public in a professional manner.
· Controlled Access.
· Monitoring.
· Incident/report writing.
· Weekly contact with the contracts manager.
· Must be committed to full training (continuation & upskilling).
· Must be willing to work alongside experienced dog handlers.
All Candidates must have the following criteria to successfully gain an interview:
· A valid S.I.A licence.
· A full UK driving Licence
· A full 5-year checkable work history.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Flexibility to work shifts which may cover a mixture of days, nights and weekends.
· Own transport is preferable but not essential for the right candidate.
· Must be willing to work towards a formal qualification in dog handling.
