We are looking for a Security Manager that can demonstrate the confidence, experience, drive, flexibility and determination to provide total quality management at our prestigious contact in Stratford. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the biggest security companies in the UK. VSG has emerged as one of the leading providers of Security and Support Services to blue-chip organisations in the UK with a core focus on corporate, distribution, manufacturing, retail and shopping centre sector.
This position will report to the Security Business Manager.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
An ability to motivate and influence a site team to maintain the high standards required
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Experience of building and maintaining excellent client relationships
A strong desire to achieve “beyond expectation” results
Pride in achieving exceptional team performance in all circumstances
Must have experience as a Site Manager leading a large team
Key Responsibilities:
Be the principle point of contact for the contract representatives
Acting as duty Manager for the Shopping Centre
Responsibility for ensuring the contract is manned to contractual levels for both security and cleaning
Liaising with tenants, contractors, local enforcement officers and Police
Ensure customer issues are resolved timely and to an appropriate resolution
Ensure staffing levels and performance is in line with contract expectations
Manage service levels and KPI’s to ensure delivery meets and exceeds expectations
Monitor standards and implement remedial action.
Ensure all health & safety and compliance issues are adhered to
Reporting procedures and incident management, compiling reports
Holiday allocation and administration for the security and cleaning team
Overseeing the recruitment process as required, to ensure quality of staffing is maintained
Manage staff welfare and disciplinary issues
Ensuring Assignment Instructions are current and adhered to
ü IT skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) essential.
ü Proven management experience essential.
Shopping Centre security experience desirable
