As a Security Operations Manager reporting directly to the Head of Security & Resilience, you will be responsible for managing the daily security operations of the Raynesway site in accordance with policy and work instructions, the Raynesway guard force and security office staff. This is a high profile role in which you will support the security assurance programme and the delivery of the site security awareness and training programmes.

Key Accountabilities
Manage and lead the security guard force and ensure all relevant work instructions and local operating instructions are up to date and fit for purpose.
Coordinate the delivery of training to the security guard force and maintain a record of training.
Support the planning, coordination and execution of site security exercises.
Manage the process for the transport of all classified documents, components and products.
Provide security advice and briefs for foreign travel.
Deliver the site security awareness and training programme.
Lead the investigation of security incidents and breaches.
Act as the lead for the response to site security incidents.
Maintain the security posture and response levels in accordance with MoD security policy and guidelines.
Implement appropriate mitigation to address vulnerabilities and potential areas of non-compliance against customer and internal regulations and procedures.
Support the maintenance of the Security Risk Register, Site Security Plan and Site Security Manual.

Qualifications and experience

Security Management experience.
Experience of developing site security policy and plans.
Knowledge of Nuclear Security Policy and regulations.
Experience of government security organisations.
Knowledge of physical security arrangements and Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure standards and Operational Requirements.
An understanding of List X and nuclear site security requirements including physical and personnel security measures and controls, including the relevant applicable standards.
A good understanding of the control and management of Government classified information.  
Experienced people manager with strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills.
