Senior Security Manager - EMEA

Aims of the Job:

The Senior Security Manager (SSM) is responsible for the physical security operations concerning Disney properties within the EMEA region and will act as the deputy for the Regional Director of Security, including leading on incident and crisis responses when necessary.

Responsibilities will include:


Strategic Leadership
Implementing the EMEA security strategy with clear objectives, deliverables and action owners and develop proportionate security controls across the region.
Leading and managing the regional security management team.
Developing and presenting innovative and technology driven security solutions to mitigate security threats, increase efficiencies and drive down costs.
Leading the security manned guarding vendor management, performance and liaison.
Overseeing the implementation of security manned guarding training, testing and alignment of their Assignment Instructions to TWDC Security Standards & SOPs.


Operational Security
Ensuring the security of buildings occupied by the Company is maintained at the highest level.
Leading in the assessment of all potential security risks at nominated Disney Sites and implement appropriate controls to mitigate those risks, including developing SOPs and supporting site staff to implement effective protective controls.
Providing adequate provision of physical security resources for all EMEA cast members, employees, sites, stores, assets and events.
Collaborating with events planning teams to ensure clear and timely visibility of the Event pipeline; providing the planning, engagement and oversight of security provision to Events, Premieres TV/Film Productions, Anti-Piracy and other ad hoc requirements in region.
Develop productive collation and reporting of ground threat and incident data to the Intel Manager through own security manager team.

Crisis Management
Leading on the management and resolution of security incidents in the region collaborating with the Director of Security on more widespread and higher risk incidents
Collaborating with site staff to design bespoke incident management (IM) and emergency plans (EP) for each premises and assisting and advising site staff during emergency situations
Leading on regular training and testing programmes to maintain preparedness at site level.

Security Quality Assurance & Risk Management
Ensuring the security strategy is embedded across the region and any identified risks are mitigated and controlled through the implementation of a Quality Assurance (QA) programme and SRAs
Leading the regional security service vendors to deliver security solutions aligned to Disney Standards & SOPs.
Owning and managing the main manned guarding vendor supplier contracts, ensuring appropriate KPIs/SLAs are in place.

Stakeholder Management
Acting as the regional point of contact for appointed country, business and functional leads.
Acting as the regional security SME responsible for input into planning, risk profiling and implementation of physical security solutions to our EMEA clients.
Collaborating and developing relationships with site stakeholders including security officers, office managers, FM, landlords, local police and embassy security staff, developing a network of security orientated professionals

Reports
Contributing performance data to an EMEA security dashboard
Managing daily, weekly, monthly meetings with team members and management on work prioritisation, delivery and performance across the region

About you:

Suitable candidates will offer the following skills and experience:
A proven background working in physical, content and information security, events risk management and crisis management
Experience working in a large corporate organisation, collaborating, influencing and persuading decisions across multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure
Experience of managing and monitoring security QA programmes
Experience in dealing with Vendor, including performance management of SLA/KPIs
Experience of conducting investigations, SRAs and implementing appropriate security plans, systems and control measures
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent written skills and background in developing security SOPs and aligned training and planning documents.
Proven strategic and analytical skills
Proven ability to analyse complex situations, make relevant decisions and design/implement effective solutions
Proven ability to align security solutions that facilitate the achievement of commercial objectives, accommodating company culture and style
A flexible approach to variable working hours - travel requirements is essential
