Senior Intelligence Advisor

SOS International LLC is seeking a Senior Intelligence Advisor to support a program providing a full range of Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of our customer’s training mission in Afghanistan. The Senior Intelligence Advisor shall develop and lead the execution of the overall Insider Threat program and strategy across the Combined Joint Operations Area-Afghanistan (CJOA-A).

Essential Job Duties:
• Develop education and training materials in support of the counter Insider Threat mission and will engage internal and external stakeholders on a continuing basis as the lead advocate for the Insider Threat program
• Maintain awareness of the development of sufficient intelligence capabilities and processes within the Afghan National Security Force (ANSF)
• Identify emerging trends and patterns, risk assessment, and threat mitigation from a counter Insider Threat perspective and provide reporting to the customer leadership team
• Provide recommendations to the leadership team/decision makers on methodologies, results, and conclusions from applied operations research
• Provide advice on counterintelligence strategies for review by the leadership team to apply across the enterprise
• Interface with other Insider Threat organizations to present a holistic view to senior leadership
• Conduct presentations and courses that demonstrate strong, recognizable expertise in Insider Threat detection and enable recipients to recognize, understand, and mitigate Insider Threats
• Participate in the development, delivery, and updating awareness education content in support of various training
• Maintain and update the Insider Threat Handbook, Programs of Instructions, and Quick Reaction Live/Dry Fire Drills
• Mentor and advise military advisors; aid in the development and in the execution of their mission and provide mentorship to advisors throughout their deployment
• Responsible for the day-to-day intelligence advice required by the customer
• Attend all applicable working groups and meetings to represent the customer to gather information on the current issues and concerns
• Produce weekly reports, daily intelligence updates focused on current and future operational areas, and monthly vehicle movement security briefing for contract personnel
Minimum Requirements

• Must possess current Top Secret with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI)
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in related studies with formal professional intelligence training
• Prior experience in intelligence analysis and production; experience in integrating national to tactical collection platforms into dynamic operations at multiple echelons; experience using current targeting methodologies associated with counterterrorism operations
• Extensive knowledge about Insider Threats and methods of detection
• Government Counter-Intelligence leadership skills
• Experience in mentoring, advising, and assisting US and Coalition Forces
• Shall have at least six (6) months of experience within the last four (4) years serving or working with ISAF


Desired Qualities:
• Master’s degree in an intelligence or counterinsurgency (COIN) related field (e.g., intelligence studies, security studies, conflict studies, international relations, operations research)

Work Environment:
• Personnel will work in harsh and austere locations in Afghanistan
• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
